<p>We went to the Wild Turkey Bourbon distillery in Lawrenceburg, KY. I didn't know anything about bourbon. It seems bourbon is a type of whiskey but predominantly corn instead of rye (or something like that). Anyway there are all these federal regulations about it which they seem to resent but also protect them - like bourbon has to be made in the US, and it has to be mostly corn, and it has to be aged in new barrels. Finally there was a tasting, and we bought the single barrel fanciest one - it's written on the neck in which warehouse and which shelf it lived for 10 years.

So we did it, yes we DID IT.. We drove 4300 miles in 14 Days across USA ~ Seattle WA > Yellowstone WY > Mt Rushomre SD > Colorado Springs CO > Amarillo TX > Oklahoma City OK > Tunica City MS > Nashville TN > Lexington KY > Charleston WV > Arlington VA ~ Washington to Washington DC.. The XC, RTF Style!!
